WHO STOLE MY BUDŽ?
Anheuser-Busch recently filed a domain name dispute against Pen Media LLC claiming that Pen Media's registration of the domain names BudRacing.com and BudweiserRacing.com infringes on Anheuser-Busch's BUD and BUDWEISER trademarks.
The dispute was filed with the National Arbitration Forum. The Arbitrator found that Pen Media had no legitimate use of the domain names. The arbitrator further found that since the website was used to attract traffic from user's looking for the famous BUD and BUDWEISER marks, the domain names were registered and used in bad faith.
Both domain names were ordered to be transferred to Anheuser-Busch.
