MICROSOFT BUYS LICENSE FROM ADOBE FOR MOBILE PHONES
27-Mar-2008
Microsoft has recently purchased a license from Adobe for software used for viewing online videos and other files on cell phones. All cell phone makers who use the Windows Mobile software will now be provided with the Adobe Flash Lite and Reader programs.
The Flash Lite program technology allows users to access and interact with more websites from their cell phones. Although Microsoft has a similar program called Silverlight that is a competitor of Flash Lite, the company has decided to license the more dominant program at this time.
