What are the limits of liability for your errors and omissions insurance
policy have limits of liability? For those real estate licensees who carry
the Errors and Omissions Insurance Policy offered through Continental
Casualty Company and administered by Rice Insurance Services Company, LLC
(RISC), the limits of liability are $100,000 per licensee per claim with a
$300,000 annual aggregate per licensee. Higher limits are available --
$250,000 per licensee per claim with a $750,000 annual aggregate per
licensee. Whether you qualify for the higher limits and the amount of the
additional premium will depend upon how much of your sales are residential
and if you have had any claims in the past five years.
